What this module offers you?
A deeper understanding of the regulatory framework concerning placing plant protection product of biological origin to the EU market. This includes insights into what set of data is required to fulfil dossiers for approving biological active substances (in particular micro-organisms) and authorising plant protection products containing them. The module will also offer a broad understanding on how these data is evaluated and how decisions on possible approval are taken, and information on what the EU has done, and what is currently doing, to further facilitate access to the EU market of biological solutions.
What will you take away?
Comprehension on how a biological active substance (and a plant protection product containing it) reaches the EU market, from the dossier preparation, through its assessment and decision-making process. This module is ideal for individuals involved in sustainable farming, product development, and commercialization, such as field agronomists, plant scientists, and marketing/business development managers.
